I just wanted to say that I am loving the book of Daniel and I feel like I am learning so much!! I just think about Daniel and it blows my mind that someone so young could be so obedient and also how mature he was for his age. I was thinking that if I were put in that situation at such a young age, could I resist? I would hope so, but it is so easy to just go with the flow and get carried away.

One of the most important verses, I think, is 1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: They were just among many, how many I don't know, but the point is, where are they written about? They're not, because they got carried away. I think that is something important to remember.

I think in our modern day Babylon, we have to be very careful that we don't get carried away. I think as christians we need to step up and find our voice and not just go with the flow. I think we need to let the Holy Spirit lead us, like T.J. was talking about yesterday and let the love of our God shine through our actions.

34 years ago today, when I was 10 years old, I was baptized at Camp Bethel. God has never let me down, but I have let him down so many times, by being carried away and I am so thankful for his amazing grace. I don't deserve His love, but I sure am glad that I have it.
