Daniel

I'm not sure I know how to get this posted but I'm going to try.  I am enjoying the study of Daniel so much and I just read Lisa's post and she had so many questions that I've wondered about.  I read her post and your reply, T.J. but I do need to go back and re-read and think about it a lot to let it soak in.  I just know it is going to be such an exciting time when God calls His children home.  I do thank you and appreciate you so much for all the time and effort you are giving to our church.  And all of the others who are doing so much.  I don't do a lot out there right now--just sort of pew-sitting and I do sing in the choir.  I do know there all kinds of opportunities and need for people to work at Mount Olive and maybe one day I'll do something. I do pray for you and the church every day.  My most important prayer at this point is that I will live my life the way God wants me to.  I purpose in my heart every morning that I'm going to have a wonderful day and no matter what happens, I know that God is there to see me through.  I have downtime and if something hits me hard again as it has in the past, I'll have downtime again but I'm building up my reserves through God to get me through those times.  I know He is in control and I don't need anything else.  I have received so much from your sermons and the Bible Studies and I look forward to coming back for more.  Thank  you from the bottom of my heart for following what God is leading you to do.  And God bless  your family--they are precious!!!

Peggy,

I want to thank you for all your work over the years.  I appreciate you so much in how you taught me for years in youth classes and memorizing bible verses.  You mean more to me than you will ever know.  I also, really appreciate your prayers and I can feel them especially on hard days.  Also, what a blessing to see all the things you have went through and how your devotion and relationship with God has been unchanging.

God Bless

T.J.

T.J.--I was out working in my yard yesterday on the very hill you and Lyndsey would play on when I would give you a few minutes break from the Bible verses.  I think about those times a lot and how much I enjoyed doing that.  You both were really good to work with and I am so thankful for that opportunity which I would not have had if your mom had not asked me way back in 1984 if I wanted to help out with the nursery.  I have had the best times over the years teaching in the different youth classes but it has helped me far more than I could have helped anyone.  But that's how God prepared me for the hard times I've been through.  He sent me to Mt. Olive.  I had not been in church for awhile, didn't know anyone out in the direction of our church but found myself driving past that church so often and turning around and driving past again.  It was almost as if I could actually see a hand at the door of the old church waving for me to come in and finally I did.  My life was never the same after that.  I didn't realize how unsettled I had been  until I started going to church at Mt. Olive.  And then joining the church, and teaching and seeing Eddie saved and so  many of the kids I was privileged to work with--wow!!!! it has been wonderful and still is.  We have such a history there at Mt. Olive and it started long before you or I were ever a part of it but it continues through us and will continue through the children coming up now.  God is so good.  I cannot for one minute complain about the life He has given me, the good times and the bad times.  I don't ever want to get complacent in my relationship with God.  I want to reflect Him in my life.  I am so thankful He called me into Mt. Olive and I'm so thankful for the work that is going on there now and the love and fellowship of our little church.  I pray that God will continue to give you what we need to hear.  You have helped me so much and I thank you for that.  Peggy
