Although we were small in number tonight, we had a great time studying about Mary and Martha. What a contrast between the two women. They both loved the Lord, and He loved them. We all want to be like Mary and chose the better part. I pray we will be disciples of Jesus in every way and chose the best part: living and learning the Word.

This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! Love, Deborah

That is an interesting question. Who would we rather be like, Mary and Martha? This is a question I would like to see several people give their answer to. Mary, the true worshiper, the one that would sit at his feet, worship him, desire to hear him above all else, and be a close friend with him. Martha, the servant, the strong woman, the one that took care of others, the one that always looked at others before herself. She was a true servant. How about Lazarus, the true testimony and close friend of Christ. It is an interesting scene at the supper at the house of Martha after Jesus had touched lasers in the grave. You have the true servant in Martha, the friend and testifier in Laz, and the true worshiper in Mary.
