Job chp 2 v 9 - 10
Review: Job chapter 1 in which Job lost all material things. The great statement of v 21 of that chapter tells us that God owns it all anyway and we seem to fail to see that sometimes.
Review: Job chapter 2 in which Job now loses something more personal, his own health. Now we find Job in sickness and as a beggar living in the isolation of the town dump, and his wife goes to visit him.
Question: What do you think of what his wife said in verse 9?
Question: What has the wife lost in this process, can we at times be too hard on her? Is what she is feeling something that comes out of all our emotions at times?
Question: What is significant about what Job said after he had lost all he could possibly lose?
Question: How can I apply this to my life concerning how I respond in problems, situations, and struggles? How can I apply this to my life concerning my perspective of materials, and my faith in God in the hard times.
Please respond if God leads you to.
